EV charging funding now open for rural businesses

The Scottish Government has reopened the Rural and Island Infrastructure Fund, offering significant financial support to install EV charging infrastructure across rural and island locations.

For hotels, resorts and visitor destinations, this is a rare opportunity to secure funding, improve your guest experience, and future-proof your business in one move.

Don't navigate funding alone

Public EV charging comes with strict regulatory requirements across the UK, covering areas such as payment accessibility, pricing transparency, uptime reliability and data reporting.

Applying in partnership with an experienced charge point operator like Go Zero helps you avoid costly missteps. From the outset, your infrastructure is designed to meet current UK public charging regulations, protecting your investment and ensuring your chargers are fully compliant, accessible and ready for long term use.
